Meet Hannah Appiah-Danquah

My name is Hannah Appiah-Danquah. I was employed at Blue Skies in 2004. I worked with the Movements Office for a year and was transferred to Operations in 2005, where I have worked as a Logistics Officer until now. I am a dedicated young woman with passion for a challenging job. I am highly focused and results oriented.

In 2009, I served on the Food Committee and became a Leader of that committee for almost two years. I was appointed to an Executive Position of the BSSA (the Blue Skies Staff Association) in 2011 as the Vice Chairperson for 3 years. During our tenure of office, I executed my work with passion, dedication and hard work. Whilst on the seat of the BSSA, I assisted in negotiating with management on all matters of employment, conditions of service and salary related matters as enshrined in the Collective Agreement.

I promoted and fostered a good relationship between management and our people and acted in the absence of the Chairman.

As a Logistics Officer, my duties include receiving orders and liaising with production, communicating the day’s bookings to the airlines and ensuring they are confirmed, preparing Delivery Invoices and ensuring export consignments get to the airport on time.

Blue Skies has given me enormous training that has equipped me to deliver on the job and to be a valuable asset to the company.

Whist at work, I ensure I work hard to contribute my quota for the betterment of our Company. Our culture is unique and I am proud to be part of the Blue skies family. Long Live Blue Skies! Long Live Dr.Anthony Pile for helping us to put a smile on the faces of our family!
